He received the B.Eng. degree in automation engineering from Guizhou University, Guiyang, China, in 2011 and the M.Eng. degree in control theory and control engineering from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Nanjing, China, in 2014. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Denver, Colorado, USA. His current research interests include distributed power system, applications of machine learning in power system, networked control, microgrid, energy storage system and renewable energy.

He received B.S. degree and M.S. degree in Automation from Northeastern University, Shenyang, China, in 2014, and 2016, respectively. Currently, he is pursuing the Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of Denver, CO. USA. His research interests are applications of power electronics in microgrid, distributed generation technology, and renewable energy integration.

He received the Bachler’s Degree in Automation from Hebei University of Technology, Tianjin, China, in 2017. He is studying in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) for his Ph.D. degree at University of Denver, Denver, Colorado. His research area is ECE Power and Energy System now. His research interests are in the area of Microgrid control, renewable energy, power system stability.

She received her B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Control and Automation from University of Tripoli, Tripoli, Libya in 2010 and MS Electrical Engineering, emphasis in Management from University of Denver, Denver, CO in 2016. She is currently perusing her PhD degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Denver, Colorado. Her research interest is in the area of the renewable energy and microgrid.

Abdullah received his bachelor’s degree in power and energy systems from Price Sattam University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in 2012. As an outstanding student during his undergraduate studies he was awarded a full Scholarship to pursue his education in USA. Later in 2016 he received his master’s degree in power and energy systems from university of Denver. Colorado, USA. Currently he is pursuing his PhD under the supervision of Prof. David Wenzhong Gao at university of Denver. His research interests are in smart grid, micro grid and modeling of renewable energy systems.

Ibrahim Alsaidan received the B.S degree from Alqassim University, Saudi Arabia in 2008, and the M.S. degree from University of Denver in 2012, where he is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree. His research interests include modeling, sizing, and operating energy storage systems in microgrid.

Jeffrey Weber is a Project Engineer at Lockheed Martin Space within the Engineering and Technology Organization. Mr. Weber received his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado in 1986. Mr. Weber holds a Master’s Degree in Mechatronics and Systems Engineering and is pursuing his Interdisciplinary PHD in Engineering from the University of Denver (DU) with primary focus on systems thinking for Design, Development, Testing and Evaluation (DDTE) of mobile Hybrid Integrated Renewable Energy Systems (HI-RES) Rapid Recovery and Emergency Response Station.

Tech degree in Renewable Energy Systems from National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra in 2014. She is currently pursuing Ph.D. degree in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Denver, Colorado, USA. Her research interests include smart grid/microgrid, smart grid economics, microgrid control, energy storage systems and renewable energy.
